Oh how weeks fly by...
Its so funny that the weeks seem to actually FLY by while we are in classes and busying ourselves with every this and that. Each day can feel like THE LONGEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE... but then suddenly- Look- Its friday! What?! How did that happen? When did Friday decide to show up? I really have no idea.
My parents are off to Italy today. I love Italy, it is truly one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen in my entire life. Just looking back on the short time I spent there, that time was not nearly enough; I need to go back sometime VERY soon. Speaking of traveling, I chatted with a girl who did the London trip and she said how fabulous it was etc etc etc... so I'm just kind of in a craving Europe sort of mode. She said "Don't take too many classes while you are there; just travel every weekend, thats what I did". I mean, Europe is so cool in that sense, you can go so many places, so easily, and without spending a terrible amount of money! That makes me so excited for when I go to London (God willing) because just to think about traveling to Ireland, France, Italy, Switzerland etc is a really exciting thing for me to think about.
It has been raining for the past three days. Not continuously, but there has been rain that will start, STORM, and stop for the past three days. I love it! I've taken walks each time it has rained and it just makes the campus look and feel and smell so nice during and afterwards. I come back to my room soaking wet and my roommate asks "What was the point of that?" The point is to just have a little time to myself and wonder around. The only people you see are running somewhere to get out of the rain, but if your point is to be IN the rain, then you can just meander and chuckle at the people running who are getting their "cute clothes" all wet, while in your jeans and T's, you know it really doesn't matter.. its just water. "A little water doesnt hurt... but a lot could kill ya!".. right. Right.
I saw Oedipus Rex at the blackbox last night. Let's just leave that at that... feel free to-- ask me about it if you really want further details.
Tonight I'm going to see Les Leasions Dangereuses... this is a mainstage show and I am really excited to see it. Practically the entire freshman (drama) class is going and everyone is getting dressed up.. which is always fun. I'll write more about that when I actually have the knowledge.
This has been a really random post... but I hope you've enjoyed.
Peace.
