Wow. this weekend.

This weekend was pretty crazy. It began on Friday at 5:15 when I got onto a bus to go home! For 6 hours I sat on that bus.. and for about 5 of those 6 hours, I was sleeping. haha. Finally, at about 12:15 or so, I arrived in Boston's bus station and Brian came to pick me up :D That was pretty awesome. It was nice just to see places that did not look like... here. AKA--- relatively lame. I mean, pretty--- but lame. haha

Then on saturday- naturally we went to Nick's.. can't go home without going there ... you're jealous. Ugh- right now, I could eat sooo much from Nick's. I'm starving. haha I'm in Women's studies. I seem to always blog while I'm in this class. I don't know what she's talking about... okay tangent.. anyway- so saturday, I was probably at LSA more than i was at home.. haha but that's okay- "LaSalle Academy-- where I call home" ? Maybe. NO. then i saw Nick/Rob's cast and then Cameron/Dans cast. They were fun. And surprise-- Cer showed up! So exciting. I'm sure all of you who are reading this, have already known exactly what happened this weekend.. so why bother even writing about it? Because its my blog and I feel like it! :)

Sunday-- i left-- bus for 7 and a half hours-- hardly slept at all :( that made me sad. I love sleeping while on trips. Alas, that did not really happen. At least there were no crazy drug addicts on my second bus.

I got back.. and then.. did some work. But not nearly enough.

Basically i'm exhausted. Good times college.

Well..

Fall has certainly come to Syracuse... in the form of 52 Degrees and rainy. However... THE TREES ARE CHANGING :) and that is beautiful. I am really excited because my loverly friends are visiting next weekend. I just found out that Derek and Abs are coming up next weekend to see my shining face... that makes me verrry happy!! :)

In other news: Colette and I rearranged our entire room. It looks roughly twice as big, thats pretty cool... we could basically have giant dance parties in our room and still have space to spare :) thats pretty sweet.

I really want to go see Across the Universe tonight. however, all of my friends are away this weekend, so I might just go by myself because-- I think it'd be really fun to just hang out and see a movie. Perhaps that will happen. I'll either go see a movie or perhaps I will end up seeing Liasons again-- but I am not in that kind of mind-set. I wanted to go last night, but... lo and behold, that did not happen.

Today was my first college library experience. It was lovely. I got about 120 pages of reading/annotating done... and thats GREAT :) So that was a first for this weekend.

Sorry this is the most random post in the world.

I hope the few of you that read are enjoying :)

Its 7:40AM

Well. As stated in the title, its 7:40AM. I am about to go to CORE (and today is HARD-CORE) as we like to describe it, because we have Steve Cross and Craig! haha.. Steve Cross has one of those names that you have to say the first and second or else it just does not feel right. Anyway- we have Steve Cross and Craig, who are our hard core teachers-- because.. well, Steve Cross just basically kicks your butt from here to next tuesday, and Craig does exactly the same thing to your mind! But I suppose that both are equally good and important.

I've decided that I can probably sleep for an extra 1/2 hour or so on these days because its pointless to shower when you're just going to get all sweaty again and so-- without showering, there is a lot of wasted time that could be used for sleeping...instead of just chillin and doing nothing.

I am quite excited for the 27th of October. Yay for going home. *Just to let you know*... I'm not homesick... it'll just be nice to see my friends and family and such-- a little quick dose of that-- then I'll be all set for waiting it out until Thanksgiving :)

Ugh, I feel pretty crappy this morning. My nose/throat is all gross feeling..and thats really frustrating becaues I thought that thing was finally gone-- apparently not. Perhaps I'm just a little stuffed up this morning, who knows? I took some medicine so hopefully that will make me feel better. I ate some delicious granola this morning too-- that is always fun. It might have replaced Raisin Bran for my favorite cereal..idk its a tough call.

Well, I should probably get a going to the bus stop. Bus there, walk back,... but sometimes its just bus both days especially after Steve Cross (your calves will be KILLING you if you do too much after his class.. haha) but i'll probably walk today because the temperature is supposed to be quite agreeable.

Talk to you soon <33

October.

Amy: Colette... do you know what October means?
Colette:... um... no. What? Fall or something? *sarcastically*
Amy: That's exactly what I was going to say!

I cannot believe that it is October 2nd already! Where did the time go? October is such a notable month, September is always associated with bad things (aka...school starting, summer ending), but by the time October rolls around, you've been in school for long enough that the routine is likeable at this point and there is no sense in really trying to fight for your summer back. Summer is OFFICIALLY gone. It is just time to embrace fall: the weather, the smell, the leaves turning... the delightful apples that you should probably be off somewhere picking instead of sitting home on the weekends. I just love fall. I hope that I will actually embrace it a lot more than I have usually done when I have taken most things for granted at home.

Here at school, I've found, that sitting in a dorm room for lengthy periods of time is NOTHING like sitting at home for lengthy periods of time. There is a sort of sadness that comes along with a dorm room for some reason. Perhaps because it is the only place where you can be, as opposed to being in a house where you can move around at your own free will, and there will be plenty of places to go. When the only option is your bedroom/den/computer room/kitchen/dining room… etc… it kind of loses its appeal to be in for periods of time. So, I’m trying to make myself go out side more and sit on the quad, before the winter when I’ll be forced to sit in the snow if I wanted to do that- and let’s be serious, that would not be happening anytime soon. Haha.

I am excited to see what fall is like here. I’m sure that it is very beautiful in terms of the trees around campus… and some walks will be very nice to take: especially those down and back from the theatre… the weather will be cooler so it will not be nearly as bad to go up and down that hill without breaking nearly as much of a sweat.

Those are my ideas of fall. I’m excited. That only means that winter is one step closer—I know my dad is really excited for that one!

Much love.

oh a little PS

PS: Its October!

how did that happen!?

My Two Roommates.

I now have two roommates. haha it is good times. Caitlin has officially moved into our room- let's be serious, there is even a star on the door that has her name on it. Also, buff chick pizz has become a main factor of our conversations: *buff chick pizz= buffalo chicken pizza*... this is the pizza that we have ordered twice since we've been here... roughly the most amazing pizza in the entire world...and this is coming from a girl who doesn't even like pizza. So thats what my roommates and I do!... we sit around talking about buff chick pizz and abreviating nearly all of the words that we say... its quite fun, I must admit.

I'm sorry... these posts have gotten so incredibly dull. I'm not sure what else to say.

I've got a sizable amount of work to do today-- however, I'm taking a little break to write this blog because I am quite tired and just need a little break from thinking.

Maybe I'll just go back to thinking.
