Sunday

Well, today is Sunday. The McGuirk house is in a state of turmoil. We're all fighting. Mom and i had an ENORMOUS fight this morning..that wasn't good to say the least. It all has to do with Church. Yup- thats it. I didn't want to go this morning because I was tired and just wanted to sleep. But- I got up to go..and then proceeded in yelling at mom which caused her to yell back. IT was just a BAD start to a very bad day. (Now is when a liscense could come in handy, i could just go driving for a bit to clear my head).

Well, may I offer up my reasoning for not wanting to go to church. Okay. Its NOT that I don't believe in God, because I do. HOwever, i do not like the Catholic Church's thinking. I'm old enough to make my decisions...even though I got confirmed in the Catholic church, that doesn't mean that I agree with what much of it says. Also, I feel much closer to God when i'm sitting peacfully at a prayer service, or quietly alone. I don't like the showiness of Church. We all are programmed to say the same things and do the same signs, week after week.

I'm sorry- this could get very long and monotomous. I'm hungry. I might brave the downstairs in search of some food. It'll probably end up in another fight. We'll see.
