The dark history of oragami in the Americas.

I went to a book reading with B. today. I've decided, frankly decided, that I love having books read to me. Its such a relaxing feeling, and I concentrate so much more. Anyway- there were five authors who read either from their own work, or from their favorite work:

First, a woman, the only woman among the five. She read a story about a man who went to see a shrink, and what his encounter was like. She was my favorite among the five authors. I'm not sure why. She had a really great spirit, she kind of bopped her way up to the stage, read, didn't say much, and then bopped off. I don't know, you could tell she was excited about the vegetarian who went to see a shrink. This was just really fun.

The next man on the other hand, was.... interesting. No. he made me nervous. He read about something that I could barely comprehend which made no sense, however it was rather funny. It was his first reading, so he was nervous?. I don't know. But, he was just okay- the book that he read, was weird..made not much sense. I think if you actually read it it might make more sense. I dont know.

Next. Another good one, he read about oragami. It was hysterical. Then he talked about some woman made out of paper, and how she gave her lovers massive paper cuts. So, that was really funny. He was excited too and had really cool glasses. That was pretty fun. I liked him.

The next guy, I don't even remember what he read about. But he seemed pretty cool, he had a big curly blond afro type thing going on, and he was just so chill about reading. He left the listeners with a cliff hanger, which was kinda fun. it was something like "And then, disaster struck"...."So I'll end there!"... that was funny. OHH I think his was about these two girls. Yeah, that was really intense and really interesting. One of my favorite quotes from his was "Once she stopped feeling, then she could begin to be happy, even though that made no sense". Thats not a direct quote, but its something to that affect. It was really good.

The last guy, the one that brian wanted to see the most, read about a man who lived in the Sudan and about his life. This was really interesting, it talked of his childhood and his girl problems, which was quite funny. (Quite Racey!) haha no, but, it was really fun. It sounded like a really interesting book. He was a good reader too.

All of them were really good, well with the exception of that second guy. He was a bit too odd for comprehension. Anyway- that was a great addition to my day.

Then i went out with Billy and saw V for vendetta. Amazing flick. check that out. there were so many amazing references throughout the movie, it just needs to be seen. I would go into my feelings about that, but this post is already too long. So, i'll just stick to my feelings about those readers and call it a night.

<3 Enjoy.

I felt the need.

I just got the impulse to write a little bloger thinngy. Blogger. whatever.

I was quite overjoyed when i saw that I had not zero, not one, but TWO comments on my blog from my beloved cousins. That brighted up my day a bit. Anyway-- today I stayed home until about 11:30 to work on my paper, because..my life is too busy to do homework at night, i come home, I'm tired, and I sleep.

Today, i found out that I am going to be missing more school than I can afford to miss. This is maditory missing. Great. Thanks Chorus. Hats off to you.

Um...OHH!! I went to Elon last weekend..In North Carolina. It was b-e-a-utiful. I can totally see myself there. I saw this brilliant vocal performance which made me very happy. I want to get in so badly, i can't even explain it! PLUS They have the best traveling abroad program in the country!! WOOT! So, that was a really great weekend!...Elon--accept me, if you ever happen along this blog. haha...you never know.

I'm posting this...pointless thing.

Since my very lovely cousin Leah informs me that its about time for a post, I'll give you one. Today was quite an exciting day. I was actually really tired this morning, but I got happier as the day went on. For lunch, I had mashed potatoes :) And that was REALLY exciting. But then rehearsal rolled along, of course, bringing my happy mashed potato day to a halt. I was not needed at all, and I had clearly said that if i wasn't needed, then I'd really like to go home because I have a research paper due on Emma Goldman due on Friday (Thankfully our teacher changed that date). But..they said "NO YOU MUST STAY!"...so, being a good one, I stayed. Shoot me. I stayed, and wasn't needed at all.

So, then I finally got home, watched Made for a bit, realized I had seen that one..but continued to watch. I ate some cheese and pepperonni. I never do that. I mean the pepperoni thing, but it was there, and I was like "Hm..Amy do you want that?".. "Yes, thanks I do."..so i merrily ate some of it, and it was quite delicious. Then I went upstairs to start my paper. I have a paragraph done. Go me.

Um...I have a really boring life. This entire post is about food. Hum... any drama going on here?.. well, Prom is coming up far too quickly...and I need to find a date, or else..it'll just be really dumb. So, I gotta do that.

This is getting to be rather lengthy...and i am fairly certain that no one wants to read it anymore than I do.

oh before I go-------- I bought the Smallville Metropolis Mix on iTunes. and my life got better.
